The Details
Yes ... thank you Town Crier ... the dates and venues have been
set.
Friday evening at the Queen Elizabeth will commence with a reception
in the foyer followed by audio, video, live entertainment, and personal
appearances in the theatre. Patrick Roberge
'82, a Magee alumnus, will direct the theatre show. Patrick is
President and Creative Director of PRP Inc. You have all experienced
his work. How you ask? Explore his skills and experience at PRP Website
Saturday will open with a focus event in Kerrisdale
and red carpet welcomes from merchants and community organizations. The
day will continue at Magee Secondary with a variety of activities such
as tours of the new school, decade rooms, club and art displays, live
music, a photo station, memorabilia including a new Centennial Book,
hoards of archived material, food and refreshments, etc.
Centennial Celebrations will revolve about the theme
"Success and Excellence" achieved over the past 100 years by
Magee students, alumni, teachers and administrators, parents and
families, and the community.
This brings me to a critical point.
The Centennial Celebration is about you and we need your stories
and photo's to build the show at the Queen Elizabeth, our website, and
the displays at Magee Secondary. Also, we need your help to identify
accomplished and recognizable Magee Alumni.
Please visit our website and send your stories, pictures, and
Alumni names to us. Details of how to do this are outlined on the
"Share Your Memories" page http://www.mageecentennial.ca/MCShareYourMemories
.
